The lions lose

It’s not like they didn’t try…there was another team on the field. They made some mistakes inside the redzone that cost them the game.

So the rigged comeback would have just been even more “phenomenal” for AR?

Yes, and the Packers are a good team.
The Lions still did enough to beat that team.
But not the script.

We capitalized on GBs mistakes. That is good football. We certainly had mistakes of our own that cost us points, but we played good ball.

By the way, that 12-man penalty… Before that ever occurred, that drive was extended by a phantom Defensive Holding call where the TE slipped and fell and we were flagged for it.

You mean the same drive where we stopped them on 3rd and 5 and the refs called defensive holding…on a suspect defensive holding call that Booger disagreed with? That drive? But you are correct. After the refs kept the drive alive for the Packers, we made a legit mistake with 12 men on the field.

People are forgetting about that already. That drive was over.

We were up 20-0 during the hail mary game in 2015.

Yes we made some mistakes, but 2 things… do we REALLY have to play a perfect game and have a 21 pt cushion to account for how the refs are going to screw with us???

  1. Situational awareness. We demand this of the players… understand down/distance/position on the field. Why don’t the refs need to be held to that same standard? On plays that result in change of possession (ie. a 3rd down stop by the defense) you better make DAMN sure you actually see the penalty you are calling, not what you “think” you saw.

ridiculous!

A game in which Green Bay fielded 13 people on defence and got away with it, facemasked our guy, but, our guy who wasn’t facemasking got called!
If we continue to watch this bullshit, they will never quit doing it!
You can’t possibly believe they have any incentive to fix the game fixing if you condone it!
