No I’m pointing out the refs also think he had possession. Not just Ohio State fans.
Power 4 you mean?
If a runner does not maintain and show control of the ball as he crosses the goal line, it is not a TD until he regains control.
In this case, he continued to bobble the ball before the goal line and all the way until he stepped out of bounds. If no one controls the ball and it goes out of bounds, its a touchback.
I have an unhealthy amount of respect for the MAC, but I suppose I meant Power 4.
He regained control just as he was crossing the goal, then lost it again after. He brought his arms up with the ball and pinned it, then it dislodged again after he crossed. So TD. There is reason that A the refs did not even make a big deal about it on the field, and B that the review refs caught it but then still awarded him a TD. I’m actually more suprised there was no DPI on that play, then some obscure BS about a touchback that has literally never been called as far as I know. Unless the defense actually made a play, which this defense didn’t.
Of course you, I’m shocked
Again, if he doesn’t have control, then has it, and loses control again then he never really regained control imo. No worries, its water under the bridge now, it doesn’t seem like it would have mattered either way, I just don’t think he ever really showed control again until he was stepping out of bounds.
@farmerted there is zero point. Victims never will admit. Btw I’ll always speak the truth, but just like osu you uofm fans cry just as much. And I bet you will piss on my post as well, because thats what you guys do, with a help from a fake Notre Dame fan. Stop playing Victims
In August, the NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions penalized Michigan after investigating the school for stealing signs through advance scouting. The NCAA fined the Wolverines at least $30 million, imposed recruiting restrictions and suspended coach Sherrone Moore three games, including next season’s opener, noting it had “overwhelming” and concerning evidence of a cover-up by Michigan staff. The NCAA committee also levied an eight-year show-cause penalty for former Michigan staffer Connor Stalions and a 10-year show-cause for former coach Jim Harbaugh, now coach of the Los Angeles Chargers
.
Neah, they would never do such a thing.
Playing victims would be saying “Michigan lost because of a bad call”. Literally no one has said that. Everyone has said Ohio State was the better team. I’d say the Michigan fans here have been quite gracious. You’re responding to a response you never got, but wish you did.
Lol I wasn’t at all. I called both teams victims.
