Goalkeeping is a massive issue as well. Some of the past teams have been bailed out by the goalkeeping. Not this one. None of the keepers are comfortable playing with the ball at their feet. So any pass back to the keepers will be an adventure. US is going to have to put the ball into the back of the net often and I’m not sure they are capable of it.

Canada should still win their group but they definitely wanted a better result in that game.

I thought Canada was the better team but missed on a number of chances. Bosnia put out Italy [ranked 12th] so it was going to be a tough match.
The Swiss were picked by most to win the group. They are solid and experienced. That said, when they play Canada Alphonso Davies will be back with “Les Rouges” and he is one of the best at his position.
Exciting game. Great atmosphere. Thats what World cup is about.

Was Davies hurt? I was wondering why he didn’t play today.
I do appreciate how skilled these guys are. But sometimes it feels like a game of keep away or monkey in the middle.
