For the ship royal. For food carnival, but its more getto. Norwegian gives you the best savings, but trash food, and Disney isn’t worth the money at all.

We cruise Carnival once a year… sometimes twice depending on my work schedule. Shortest was a 4 day, longest was a 14 day. I find the shortest cruises with Carnival are the most ghetto. The longer the cruise, usually the better the ship and the quieter the clientele (read older average age). We frequently do the steak house (mileage varies), the Italian place (mixed), the Japanese place (excellent), and the seafood shack (best bang for the buck).

We (my wife and I) are generally less than $150/day. That is food, lodging, travel, etc. So it becomes an all inclusive for the cost of a solid hotel room. But those deals are getting harder to find.

I heard that: certain cruises had diseases, food sickness, pirates boarding them and demanding jewlery, cash, and things, how an oil leak contaminated the drinking water, a certain number of bathrooms not working , people being stranded aboard, I even heard that passengers were secretly being filmed on camera in their rooms, those kinds of things.

Wolfie, you are a freaking badass legend. Big time props. This world loves a story about perseverance, overcoming the odds and the blizzard of shit life throws at people. Why?

Because we can all relate in some way to some degree, but when we see another guy or gal really bear down and overcome, it makes it seem easier for us with our stuff. Thanks for sharing and being a part of this community. It does us all good.
