Thoughts on Arnold without CD3

When I seen Arnold IMO, he looked pretty good…Curious what others think

If a mistake was made on the field, it was Vildor making it.

He’s sticky and not an idiot and only reaching a small percentage of his ability. Future is bright.

Don’t think he will ever be an elite CB but think he can be good in time.

A plus starter for 10 years in the NFL type player.

I actually thought Vildor played a pretty clean game.

Amik and Arnold had the two most embarrassing plays on defense. Beaten worse than Okudah.

I agree. Weird bc the game wasn’t even played at knight.

So you don’t wanna see him hung still😂

I agree though he was decent.

He is already a serviceable starter who is going to turn into a very good starter. Has improved throughout the season and is on a very nice trajectory.

I hate to see top guys go down with an injury, but in the long run, it can actually benefit the team. It gives the backups more reps and forces them to step up their game against better talent. Then, when the number ones come back, the entire floor has risen.

Thank you, this means he is for sure is gonna be a star, I mean if it’s like everything else you posted this is a sure thing.

I think the game may be an outlier, but I feel like I’m a fair man. Dude played a good game, I’m not going to say he didn’t.

I stay out of the Vildor conversations as much as possible. I was the guy expecting him to make the 53 and produce quality snaps at some point. He did and has.

The biggest thought I have regarding DB conversations is how many of you that have been looking for your 3rd round comp pick from CD3 would rather have him going forward than not.

I just don’t know how the Lions afford him…but I kinda feel like you have to figure out a way. Arnold isn’t quite there yet…Rakestraw hasn’t shown much of anything yet and there isn’t a ton behind them. Moseley can’t seem to see the field. Vildor and Dorsey are ST guys you hope don’t have to see the field.

So they I think they either need to resign CD3. Find a plus starter in FA for reasonable money (HA!). Or spend another high draft pick and hope he can be more Quinyon Mitchell in year 1 than Terrion Arnold.

If it’s just CD3 vs the 3rd round comp though, give me CD3 all day.

Absolutely… But it’s going to be $20 million per year to resign him IMO. I like him as a player, but the time is rapidly approaching where they’ll have to pick and choose who they keep… Like Jonah last year.

Yeah, I agree. It’s going to be tough to keep him. Not sure they’ll be able to.

If Jonah was the right kind of player, they would have chosen him.

CD3 is the right kind of player.

I think it will probably be him or Kerby.
