Thoughts on Arnold without CD3

It’s just so shitty, man. The Lions have been so bad that it’s been easier to keep anyone good, sans Suh because we haven’t had to really worry about paying anyone else.

Now we have an embarrassment of riches are looking at losing good players because we’ve drafted so well. My heart would pick Kerb over CD3 because we drafted him and developed him, seen him grow as a player and a person. I’m definitely biased in that respect.

I would prefer to keep Kerby as well. You don’t often see two safeties paid at the top of the market though, and both of ours definitely deserve it. Will be fascinating to see how it plays out. Brad likes to buck the mold, so I think it’s possible we just do it.

For a rookie CB I think he’s doing great. Just needs to play the ball a bit better but he’s one of the stickiest corners in the league. Can’t teach that skill.

Kid continues to improve week to week.

I think he still is a little too handsy but isn’t getting flagged for it as much as earlier this season.

If Brad loves a guy he will find a way to pay him. I’m confident Kerby and CD both will be back. Maybe a backloaded deal for Kerby.

Didn’t the refs tell he was sticky on receivers, just be less handsy?
