Yep, would be close to .500. It’s also wild as the offense has like a +11 overall run differential or something like…which statistcally is one of the highest in the league, which would normally also have this team at at least .500 by the analytics. This bullpen deserves all the greatest of shames.
Well Montero is in, see if he can finish this one out.
Hope AJ actually let’s him close the game if he’s dealing…but ya never know. Gotta “put in a closer” in the 9th or some arbitrary bullshit ![]()
AJ looking at his bullpen to find his favorites.
Today, the answer is Montero in lieu of Montero faltering…I hate that he’s made me dislike him as a manager this season.
It sucks for him that he isn’t in the rotation but it sure is nice to have that dependable arm in the bully.
If we see Jansen, Vest, or Finnegan come out for the 9th…welllll let’s just say I dont want be smarter than AJ, feels bad man.
Montero coming back out…thanks AJ, it shouldnt be that difficult sometimes
Whoa, Colt Keith flashing some leather…
Outman has made a difference for this team.
Keith needs to play all game, every ■■■■■■■ game
Edited for: I know that’s the first time anyone (or me) has mentioned that…with swear words
As someone said the other day, losing Meadows and Baez defense was a a lot bigger loss than anticipated. Outman definitely making a difference in CF

Have you NOT examined the spreadsheet data???
The bullpen was never the problem… according to spreadsheets!
He’s def been much better/more solid than my cynical ass thought he’d be…
He doesn’t get many hits but when he does it always seems like it’s a big hit.
And 100% on his defense. He’s been a rock out there.

What would be great is if this team plays .670 ball until the trade deadline, AND still trades Skoobs for a haul (and maybe some players who can help now), and somehow makes a run into the playoffs…that is what is best imo.
Trust the p̶r̶o̶c̶e̶s̶s̶ spreadsheet.
Is that a Sparky Anderson quote?
Ding, McG, and Riley are all stars!!!
