Isn’t this Dingler’s first full season in MLB, not a huge surprise that he is slumping after playing at a high level to this point.
His size, playing catcher which is demanding on the body wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some little aches going on there impacting him.

Really? I thought that was pretty effing funny (I just laughed out loud looking at that comparison again), and only The Kid appreciated my humor? Maybe I need to go back to comedy writing school. Nah, that was pretty funny. I’m good. As Steve Martin always said, comedy isn’t pretty.

Speaking of funny. The Tigers are just becoming a joke at this point. I can’t believe we just blew another big lead. This season can’t end soon enough.

I have three boys in their teens and 20’s. They know i love that movie. In fact, I use that line, “pick me out a good one Bobby” as a Dad joke with them, quite often. Like when they are getting me a beer out of the fridge, while watching the Tigers. Ha…
The laugh and say…”oh jeez”, or “that’s cringe”. Ha….

Yes, but the recipient has to know the movie to get the joke, which limits our target audience. 
But joke cross-pollination with imagery of beautiful women, offers a lot of potential.

We just don’t have it this year.
We should have a lot of money to spend this off-season. Hopefully our braintrust figured out that we need a real bullpen. I still feel like that is the biggest reason we failed (not the only reason though)

The current lack of sharpness and whatever is a non-issue to me. The season ended the day they blew that lead to Pittsburgh. The bullpen caused the lack of sharpness by losing this team critical games all the time.
