Yep, I do it all the time. If not a game then some type of music when ever I’m working in the yard.
It also gives us a great excuse to go after Ozuna at the deadline. He can DH for us if Carp can consistently play RF.
Ozuna immediately becomes my #1 target if Carp can play RF.
Lol, didnt see the pitch or ejection, but radio guys making it sound like it wasnt even close to a strike. MLB have a real ■■■■■■■ homeplate ump problem…sooner the robot ump takes over, the better.
Quentin Berry is the cubs 3b coach?
Sweet, but also that guy was one of the fastest guys to ever play (well pinch.run like Herb Washington) and he may not be able to get that guys cant run like he did.
This homeplate umpire is horrible, CB Buckner level but not quite Angel Hernandez bad, but he has time to get there…perhaps in this game
Better for who? Most of these calls have favored us.
And thus ends the fifth inning!
Riley muthafuckin Greene!
Riley unslumps himself!
LFGreene!
Huge 2 runs there!
Another great start by Flaherty.
I’m glad we didn’t cut him ![]()
Damn, didn’t realize Flaherty was already at 94 pitches. Great pitching by him today. Up to the BP now.
That’s three strong starts in a row. If we can get Olsen back and Mize right, we’re setup pretty good.
Who is that guy out there playing SS for us?
He’s pretty good.
Baez. He’s good defensively.
Hanifee getting hit? Shocker!
Get him outta there AJ
Around the horn
Right-hander Reese Olson (finger) threw a bullpen before the game Saturday but he didn’t throw any changeups. The changeup is the pitch that’s irritated the ring finger on his throwing hand.
He’d gotten an injection in the finger on Wednesday. He is expected to incorporate the changeup in his catch-play starting Sunday. Hinch said he’ll need to throw using the changeups for a few days before he can move on to a rehab start.
A bit sketchy
