He is one of 4 or 5 guys that are consistently in our lineup and it wouldn’t hurt my feelings one bit if they got cut.
It actually just made me just cancel my mlb Tigers sub…it was such a slavish, slobbering display of ass-kissing homerish cognitive dissonance piss on me and tell me that it’s raining insult to my intelligence and sense of reality, that it was the last straw…that ■■■■■■■ ode to zmack was the final straw.

Better yet, Riley had a 1.027 OPS this season against lefties BEFORE this game, where he was 2-2 and reached base all four times.

Alright, I’m not Mr. Defense or anything, but…
Rostering a guy who can’t hit righties, isn’t an above average base runner, and doesn’t play good defense…while he’s also not hitting lefties…doesn’t really make sense.
Jones was a journeyman for a reason. He, like many others, had a fluke year with us last year. It’s time to accept that was a fluke and it’s time to move on.

Although, I’d rather keep Jones than Zach Short. Short serves no purpose towards winning in any organization.
