That can be said for about half our lineup right now. The only ones that are really hitting are Javy McG Keith and Dingler.

I agree…but so far, this is the first season AJ has Carp in the lineup full time, and he’s struggling big time, cant even make contact. I questioned AJ using Carp situationally only last year, but now maybe I see why

Carp has 18 K’s so far, which is on pace for 224 at this rate…eciipsing Riley’s last season record breaking K’s. Not saying it’s gonna keep going this way, but he has to start at least making contact soon.

6 guys in our lineup tonight who are hitting .216 or worse. Its hard to score runs with that.

He will. Tork and Greene have good underlying metrics, indicating they’re due for some good luck.
Nobody needs to get sent down now. I wanted Javy cut a few days ago but I truly believe that playing center field helps him bat better somehow. Parker really did contribute next to nothing offensively, but now that we don’t have him the lineup should be alright in the medium term.

And I’m not even trying to single out Carp…in fact, he’s been one of my fav Tigers, so I’m not liking this. And as everyone knows, I love bagging on Greene and Javy…I dont wanna do Carp

He started hot last year as well…let’s see how it plays out. But yeah, he’s not been a problem so far…especially as he’s the 9th hitter with low expecations as is.
