Carp is a great hitter… Seems to miss a lot of games though.
Agreed, Riley has done the same early on in his career.
He hasn’t officially been put on the IL yet I’m pretty sure, but he’s not in today’s lineup.
Yes he is starting to give off that unreliable vibe for sure.
This team is hardly in a position that we can lose one of our better hitters.
Same with Meadows
That is two pieces of good news in one sentence.
The only thing I hope for is that the Meadow’s injuries are weird injuries, not physical related, compared to acls, knees, etc anyways.
It’s a half full optimistic viewpoint.
Man he just keeps getting hurt. I dont know what gives. He got better after being sent down last year. This sent him back a little
From the DetNews:
They at least temporarily dodged another bullet Monday. Outfielder Kerry Carpenter tweaked his right hamstring late in the game Sunday. X-rays showed a mild strain and, at least for now, he will not need an IL stint.
“We’ll manage it,” Hinch said of Carpenter. “We’re going to go day-by-day with him and see what he feels like. The tests were a good sign that it’s mild, but it still means there is something there.
“We have to be smart about it.”
Carpenter was not in the lineup Monday and probably won’t play outfield in this series against the Padres. He is available to pinch-hit and to be the designated hitter.
Whew
Some how a half a game in the lead with Cleveland
Crazy yea. Tampa is plus 18 but are 9-13. That seems hard to do. Must have won only blowouts
Yeah. Lions dominated with point difference last year
I guess run differential doesn’t mean too much though. Cause a baseball team could dominate 1 run games all season… And get blown out once a week and have a negative total but a good record
Riley with an RBI tee’d up on a platter with a runner on 3rd and no outs, and he hits a shallow pop up…bruh
Could be a missed opportunity here.
Keith got’er done!
Or not, 2-1 Tigers on Keiths bullet, may be an error but a rocket to second.
Vasquez with an era under 2 for the season and a lot of pitches in the first inning.
