His overall era is like 4.25, which is mediocre.
But his first inning era is 7.50 plus
The guy has been good when it’s not the first inning. So bizarre..

As usual Valdez settles down and pitches well. Someone needs to study his first innings and why they suck so bad

I will say Rasmussen is really freaking good. Every time I watch this guy pitch he makes the Jays and Tigers hitters look silly.
He pitches for Tampa so no one talks about him but easily a top 5 pitcher in baseball.
