I don’t disagree with you as I said above, its the one thing that does frustrate me with Hinch. But, game isn’t the same today as it was 30yrs ago, even 5-9yrs ago. Combo of analytics and feel are driving the game now from development to spin rates and even day to day lineups.
Yep, Jones has barely played this season so not much chance to improve

props to the KC RF for 2 great throws
Damn, McGonigle flashing the glove to get the first out, impressive, again.
Montero is looking dang good again too.
Tork!
Tork finally gets a positive result out of an abat after so much bad luck.
2out dbl gives Tigers 1-0 lead
Damn it.
I know the Tigers are aggressive on the basepaths…. but man could have runners on the crnrs with one out.
Maybe Dirks is right and Cora thought the CF would field it not the RFer who has a cannon and nailed Dingler at home.
Wild pitch and Tigers have runner on third with two outs
Horrible decision by Cora to send him home. I was shocked he did that. Wasn’t even close.
Well, Vierling drives in Green so Tigers go up 2-1
Yea, we had that discussion numerous times last season as well. It’s who they are as frustrating as it is.
Fine line between aggressive and reckless.
Another strong performance by the Tiger’s starter today, Montero has stepped up in a bigggg way so far.
Could have been better but at least we got the lead. Are we going to sweep this series by winning all 3 games 2-1?
There’s an insurance run!
KM up with one out and runner on 2nd
3-1 Tigers
