Just to elaborate….
Blowpen gave up 2 runs in 3 innings today… good for an ERA of 6.0 today.
Spreadsheets will show they have a better ERA for the season, because they may give up fewer runs when handed a 5-run lead.
Bottom line… this blowpen is at the top of the MLB for blown saves because they can’t get it done in high leverage situations.
Wagubeef got roasted.

Was the Vierling bunt attempt a MGR’s decision or something Vierling did on his own?
Not sure. But he fouled off the first one and then squared up to bunt again on the second pitch and took a strike which makes me think Manager’s call doing it back to back.
