And for being as terrible defensively as we are, we should be better at the plate. Full stop. You can’t be this terrible defensively and not score any runs and also be a good baseball team.

How many games has this bullpen lost this team this season? This is completely UNbelievable how they continue to suck copious ass pitching late in games.

Yeah, between defense, bullpen and lack of hitting, this team is way below average. The injuries to our starters are the least of our issues.

When you’re up 2 going into the 7th, and you have all of your high leverage arms available (except Vest, I guess, who would’ve thrown for Holton), you SHOULD win that game.

Why is Zach Short on this team? Career .171 hitter. I refuse to believe there aren’t guys who can play shortstop that couldn’t exceed .171. Is he just another in a long line of AJ kind of guys that are no damn good?

Good news is we have some really decent hitters at Toledo: Workman, Clark, Anderson.

Bad news is we might see them in 2028 because AJ likes guys like Short and McKinstry.

Shitty bunt may have cost them the game.

If he gets the bunt down and Zmack gets to 3rd base, the entire pressure of the inning would have changed.
