The only two guys in our lineup that are hitting with any consistency is McG and Keith. Clark would probably be our third best hitter the moment he came up. Its still early but the start of this season has been very disappointing.

As I’ve pontificated after last season…who on this roster would hit in the top 5 of one the the last couple AL/NL champ or WS winner rosters? Answer is none…none of these hitters would have cracked the top of thlse lineups. Now, so far, McG and Keith could arguably crack a top 5 of a top team’s lineup…but that’s about it. Greene especially is still a big NO…and he’s still supposed to one of the Tigers “elite” hitters, whelp…and Tork is one foot leaning towards Toledo…and Carp appears to be still just a sitiuational/match up bat, as opposed to an every day bat. All that said, still wayyy too early to make any final judgements…but there’s been some years of evidence of not so good trends with alot of these bats, and they’re still trending not so good.
And, I love AJ…but please stop with the Jemai Jones pinch hitting for a little bit. Just let these guys ■■■■■■■ hit!

We need those high first round picks to start playing like high first round picks. Green Tork and Mize needs to step it up or this team is in trouble.
