…hold my Reynolds. Made some key, WR plays (and blocks)…is what this O needed.
Just hope the dude can stay healthy… Good pickup.
Yep. He’s perfect it he stays healthy. And I think we might see ARob show up too soon here.
Well, with a name like that, I knew he was gonna be awesome…
It’ll be interesting to see who settles in as our primary X by the end of the season and then hopefully Holmes does what’s needed to keep him. Obviously Patrick has the upper hand right now to be that guy.
Welcome to our new X- Men. Hopefully stay healthy.
Just rewatched the game, Patrick is acclimating himself nicely into the offense. His blocking is phenomenal and he’s still a good receiver with strong hands… He’ll contribute consistently the rest of the season and is exactly what the offense needed @ #3 WR
Side note… Leaf’s percentage of plays…
Week 1 - 61%
Week 2 - 36%
Week 3 - 7%
Week 4 - 11%
At least the staff corrected the problem most of us saw, he’s not a #3
Two first names is always a harbinger of success, wouldn’t you say so @CuriousHusker ?
Heard announcers say Tim Patrick is still on the bubble I, for one, really hope not. He has been through two years of horrible injuries and is finally healthy He can make a difference and he should a big part of this squad
And wishes can come true … for Lions fans.
He looks like he’s the solution at X. I get he was injured but the Broncos are crazy to let him go.
They had the great Josh Reynolds to replace him… 0 catches this week btw
He does a better job than Reynolds at getting wide open.
Reynolds made a lot of tough catches in tight spaces and you can’t take that away from him.
But Patrick is a more savvy route runner and better all-around pro. He may have lost a step, but he no longer needs to be a #1 or #2. He’s a great fit. Just needs to stay healthy, knock on wood.
I agree, Patrick runs some nice routes. He’s very crisp on those crossing routes and gets good separation and has very good hands. I hope he has a great season and remains healthy. It would be good for him and for us.
