Tim Patricks increased importance

WR3 on a team with Super Bowl aspirations that genuinely values his blocking and toughness is probably about as good as he can do. No one’s going to look at him as a WR1 or WR2 because with his injury history he’s basically one play away from retiring, and he’ll be 32 and three years removed from WR2 production levels. 1 year, $4-5 million should be good enough to bring him back I would guess.

I’d be happy to offer 2 years 8-10 mil total

He is through 2025. Doesn’t mean we will bring him back.

If Alexander does well the Lions may choose to save some cap space. Leif turns 31 next year. At some point they have to get younger. I figure Leif will be likely off the roster after 2025 anyways.

Who then becomes a Lions coach

If you’re talking about Maurice, he just got dumped with all of the moves today

The irony being that the Broncos picked up Reynolds and released Patrick.

Reynolds’s had years playing with Goff. Did TP even have training camp here? Goff seems to be getting more and more comfortable every week.

Of course he is.

Air speaks of the pompatus of love

People talk about him baby
Say he’s doin’ you wrong, doin’ you wrong

Assuming he clears waivers I’m expecting him to land back on the PS. Only to get pulled up on game day if we need him.

Unless the Lions find another return guy that is.

Regardless I’m not 100% convinced Leif is back. He’s hitting the age where teams look to get younger. I figure he will be replaced either this year or next.
