Tired of how scared we are to draft known playmakers

seen it for years, I know ‘we’ aren’t physically doing the actual drafting, but as a bottom-feeding , go nowhere team -as a rule each season. we turn our noses up at draft prospects all the time…when we lose and lose PARTLY, because The Detroit Lions have few playmakers while other teams are finding success… we sit here and discredit good playmakers all the time…this offseason it’s Kyle Pitts & Micah Parsons “OH he’s got character issues.” “OH he’s just another TE.” “won’t be there.” “wouldn’t draft them !” those two seem to be this offseason’s outcasts.

not saying we never had playmakers only that they have been quite spread out over time.

point is, we seem hesitant or too scared to select a certain draft prospect , but there are quite a few times said prospects get snatched up and go on to have rather stellar careers more often than not…helping other teams win and/or beat us. how many times you say “MAN!!” “I wish we took player A !!?”
“what a beast.” while we struggle to reach 9 or 10 wins or see a playoff…sometimes? you got to give people “the benefit of the doubt.”
