pure speculation… not reporting…
Is it really a big deal? Tom Brady has been to almost two dozen training camps. He has proven to have a stronger work ethic and ability to keep himself game ready then any player to ever play. This isn’t that much different then players holding out of training camp for a new contract only to return right after training camp is over to avoid the grind that training camp is.
Reality is he retired earlier this year. If Tom Brady wanted to come back in week 10 that would gladly take him back. He can basically do whatever the hell he wants at this point and the team and staff will just deal with it because he is Tom Motherfucking Brady.
And this is coming from a guy who is not a Michigan fan and never cared for Brady. Just the facts.
It’s a big deal in the sense of what kind of terrible life event would pull Tom Brady off the football field? I hope everyone in his family is healthy and ok.
Tom is amazing. He’s doing the right thing for him, and he’ll be back. All speculation, but Tom doesn’t need this stuff as much as others. Let him tend to the more important things. He’s put in so much effort at his work he can damn near do it in his sleep.
Sending love to his family.
Most likely the team said go take care of life. Your not playing the next couple games anyway. Get some rest and be back by week 3 of preseason.
Cool → nothing to worry about. Seems very “Brady.”
He’s mentally ready, and doing his best to prep to beat Stafford in teh playoffs this year.
Hope Matt shreds 'em again.
