Amik has been great so far w/the Commanders. In all sincerity, good for him. An easy guy to root for. But that doesn’t tell us how he would have done in Detroit. We know he can be very good - and very bad.
David Montgomery is averaging 2.8 ypc w/Houston. That’s awful. AND it doesn’t mean he’d be doing so poorly if he were w/the Lions this season. In fact, he surely wouldn’t be.
Amik and Monty - two guys I appreciated as Lions and will always wish well. And I totally get why they’re gone.
