We have lots of young players that are getting better, plus Reader acclimated slowly after starting late…now the same will hold true with Z.

We will not truly be able to track the Hutch effect, until we add him back to the mix. :wink:

next year - top 5 defense to go with #1 offense.

No way we’re getting worse next year!

So basically, sacks and I assume pressures are down. Run defense is a shade down. Slightly or significantly better in everything else.

If Aaron Glenn can get these producing like this all year then it’s an all time coordinator effort IMO. Damn near half of our starting lineup has been hurt. And they’re still killing it. :man_shrugging:

The number one observation::

Since Hutch went out our situational defensive football has been the tits.

Sorry, Maggie.

1st I’ll say we don’t lose our coordinators after this year because you throw money at them.

2nd is, we’ve faced some less than QBs so that helps.

but it’s still pretty crazy how good our D is doing considering 1/2 the defense, or more, is dead.

This is why the Lions are winning games… These 3 categories will carry a team VERY far… Couple that with the Lions #1 offense and it’s easy to see why the Lions are favorites for the SB
