Trey is still pissed at Cincinnati

Can’t say I blame him. Brad, go get him.

yeah he gone lol.

Given the situation with Demetrius Knight and Shemar Stewart, really seems like the Bengals FO and Ownership is bottom 5 in the league rn

You know it’s funny cause they sure paid the offensive guys… But won’t pay the defensive ones. I guess they wanna lose 45 to 42 every week

Clearly they weren’t paying attention to what happened to us last year. Even with a top offense you still need a defense that can at least be average at worst.

They seem to do everything opposite that Brad does…which is very telling.

Probably ends up on some nfc north team. Or 49ers

They need look no further than their own house. They were losing a ton of 45-42 games last year and ended up missing the playoffs altogether. That’s why they canned a perfectly good DC in Anurumo, they needed a fall guy… when the actual fall guy was their lack of talent (outside Hendrickson of course)

The fit is great, Dan knows him, fills a need, etc… but it would require us changing the way we’ve done things under this regime, which is give a ton of money to an old outsider. So in that respect at least it doesn’t make as much sense.

Yea just don’t see it. Listening to Holmes talk about Z just being “too expensive” and not sure he’s gonna be able to pay all his own guys. Now it may just be GM speak but he is usually pretty honest in his pressers. If Z was too expensive well Hutch and Trey are like half a billion dollars combined.

It sure would be fun though.

They scored 10 tds against the Ravens and lost both games. If bengals had any semblance of a defense they probably win the AFC North.

In fairness that Ravens offense was lethal. Henry and Lamar was deadly. They averaged over 30 points per game.

Bengals had them beat both games. Bengals defense set a record I believe with the most losses when a team scores 30 or more points. All the contract distractions with Chase had them starting slow again and the opening week loss to the Patriots was brutal. Looks like they didn’t learn anything and will do it all over again with Hendrickson.

Yea good points. The only thing I can think of is Trey’s age is a factor for them. All the guys they signed to big deals on offense were like 5 years younger than Trey.

They’re going to make him play out his contract, it’s just what they do. Maybe if he sits out he’ll force their hand - Carson Palmer did, hell I think he technically retired - but no one else has.

Which I have zero problem with

If Bengals promised to look at his contract if he had another good season……that’s gonna be an issue. They at least need to get him to what Hunter is making for a year or two. Trey is a beast. For the record I see no chance he comes here but I can dream about it lol.

Me either. Players won’t love it though.
