Per Tom pelissero. More details to come as they’re posted on Twitter.
He is terrible in coverage, but seems decent overall. Kind of surprised by this one.
who’s Christian Jones lol…
Hi, I’m assuming you actually know who Christian Jones is and your statement was intended as some sort of joke?
Sorry I must be slow I don’t get the joke?
Either they like him, or they are gonna trade him for a 5th.
(I know, It’s past the deadline)
Lol.
I never hear his name called, no joke ….I really didn’t know who he is.
If you need to know who Christian Jones is just look for any highlight of a running back or tight end on the opposing team.
He’s usually there 2 yards behind him.
Unfortunately that’s been true far too often.
Jones graded out really well in the front part of the year…so this is a anti-Diggsian type thing. JRM has played well on ST and Tavai looks like a keeper. Davisbl is polarizing, but talented and fat, and Kennard just keeps producing.
Given the holes on OL, RB, DL, I wouldn’t expect us to be drafting LB til day 3 next yr.
I would expect a very OL and RB heavy draft and free agency…
Yes - and potentially DL. Crazy to think that we’r this far into the season, and still don’t know what we have at DL.
Especially since it was supposedly the deepest position on the team.
Stat wise he is best LB so far with his play With his signing it allows the team to move slower on LBs unless a stud falls to them.
They need to like others said fix the OL mainly
Oh boy cub!!! Tell us you’re kidding please…
Well, we’re going to need a Safety, and we better get another Corner, not to mention DE.
Jones has fallen off this year, IMO.
Yeah, I’m surprised too. I thought he’d be a player we’d want to move-on from. Unless he signed really cheap, which I’m guessing is the case.
Jones is not a very good player but he’s not awful either. Hopefully they just signed him for depth and can get someone better.

Not quite, Yote. Statistically, Kennard has the best stats.

I’m guessing super reasonable deal and that they’ve feel he’s doing his partime roll well. What’s his snap count % since Davis’ return? 40-60%
I said tha.t ‘I’ haven’t noticed him because it’s not like the defense is playing well AND I rarely IF ever see Jones as some bad ass / beast player , enough that I sit up and take notice of the guy.
It is not like we are sacking and pressuring QB’s anything like we SHOULDshrug.
