Vikings Talking Heads Ignore The Lion In The Room

6 minutes of willful ignorance and whistling in the wind after the pinned start. Poor things, they don’t know what awaits them…

Those turds are doofuses. In their next video they talk about this Vikings O being all time good. Just silliness for the sake of regional YouTube engagement.

This reminds me of the Packers fans perspective. The Packers lost to us TWICE. The Vikings are in a similar boat (hehe). The 2021 team was one of the worst rosters that we’ve had in over a decade. The Vikings needed a miracle to beat us the first game and they lost to us the second game. This year we owned a majority of the first game and they needed a miracle to beat us. Then we dominated them the second game.

They talked about how people don’t believe they can win as many 1 score games as they did last year. I don’t think that is the big takeaway from the Vikings 2022 season. Its HOW they won those games. That had so many weird finishes that ended in victories, and that’s why the metrics say they were actually a below .500 team.

Should they fear the Lions?
YES!!!
As well as most other NFL teams…
…and some NCAA teams!

Our division opponents have watched the Lions, just as we have, lose for years. We never let them down, we never failed to fail, just when they needed us to.

It will take years of us kicking their asses before they respect us publicly.

Don’t understand this at all. The moves made by their front office this offseason make it look like they’re tanking for a top QB in the draft.

Their Defense sucks they couldn’t even cover Sewell.

Exactly. They had a -3 point differential. That 2022 team got pretty much every break to achieve the record they did.

Look, good on 'em for doing what they did. They won the division, you can’t take that away from them. But projecting forward? They’re bonkers if they think they’re actual contenders. 2022 was a statistical fluke, and their team is worse on paper for 2023.

For years and years, I thought it was “Don’t Fear The Reverb”.
I still think I’m right.

Very true! Most of us are smashing koolaid on the Lions. But, seeing it through the lens of a Packers or Vikes fan, the Lions haven’t won the division since 1993, why would they fear us.

We gotta prove that this year. Kick ass, eat kneecaps and bring the pain all season. Win the division, win a playoff game or 2, and those NFC North fans will take notice. Until then it’s all koolaid, rainbows and unicorns.

I’m 65-70% pro Lions curb stompings, but I won’t lie, still 30% of my brain is still recovering from 30+ years of misery and ass beatings.

The koolaid drinkers fire me up, heck I’m one of them most of the time, but I’m also seeing the big picture and I can easily see where some of the legends are coming from.

Just being honest.

The Vikings won 13 games last year and we have zero fear or respect for them. The first words out of our mouths are “yeah they won 13 games, but…”

Yup - we are going to slaughter them.
We got better. They likely didn’t.
We were better than them last year when healthy.
Sweep the purple!!!

Been following the Lions through it all and I am right there with you!

I do believe Dan Campbell is the right coach and I think with him and these players the sky is the limit, BUT literally EVERY time there has been positive signs in the past they just evaporated due to fluke injuries and other misfortunes.

What I am seeing is different because I think Dan Campbell is just a way better coach than anything we had in the 90’s, and Goff has potential to be legendary (abilities are so much more than he gets credit for), but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have any doubts it will work this time.

I think it will though!!

I think her version is inverted. Heart says they win → head has PTSD

I’m always nervous and have said I’m have stated that i am influenced by the talk out there that we could be head and shoulders better then last year but similar record perhaps plus 1 or 2……I’d love to see a 13 win season but im not expecting anything other then a winning season and a playoff appearance……where @JadedLionsFan when you need to talk about about being jaded.:joy::crazy_face:
