The calls today for both teams was garbage. One bad call then a make up.
Many calls deserved but a LOT of shitty calls overall.
The 4th down call was awful. If you want to call holding okay but really petty call overall.

Lions got some calls earlier in the game, the phantom horsecollar on Gibbs in particular the extended the drive, but the two missed ones later in the second half were huge. The missed PI on Amon-Ra on 3rd down on a 4th quarter drive and the Vildor one. The game is likely put away if the one on Ra was called and was certainly over if Vildor’s isn’t called.
Regardless, the game shouldn’t have come down to this. This should have been a Jaguars/Titans/Cowboys esque beatdown but the Lions just sort of took the foot of the gas pedal for some reason, the lack of Monty and Gibbs touches in the second half was coaching malpractice by Ben. Can’t make this a habit against better teams.
Looked like a missed false start also on Chicago last drive
Ticky tack call
Don’t make that call in that moment. Clearly the call was challenged by another crew member. Lions shot themselves in the foot over and over and over again, but that ticky tack shit was very close to ruining Thanksgiving.
The refs were horrible, today. Just trash.
I’ve decided that his nickname ought to be “The Dark Ages”.
Yep… Right Tackle clearly jumped early
My son in law (big packers fan) was watching the game with me. His comment on that play was “wow - I thought the throw the flag on detroit for no reason flags were over - I guess not” - It was a trash call and anyone watching knows it.
Something I’d expect to see out of Blakeman
Not as bad as GB/Miami. That ref had more face time than Tua. It was so bad, I turned it off in the 1st half.
BS call or not, Vildor has been slipping.
Let’s not forget the extremely ticky tack PI called on Jack Campbell earlier in the game.
On a side note; I thought Jim and Tony’s subtle slams on the calls throughout the game was very well done. “That’s a call you see when the other team is down by 3 scores, Jim.” (or something similar) Hilarious.
