You pro-Washington chuckleheads aren’t alone:
I think Stroud and the Texans have made everyone go crazy on the ease of the awful-to-good transition. It didn’t just take Stroud being better than people thought - much better - it took a potentially elite new head coach and a great OC. Those Shanny-tree coaching staffs tend to hit the ground running faster than others. So much so I actually predicted the Texans’ improvement. Maybe not to that level, but I really liked them at this point last year. I put a little money where my mouth was, but I wish I’d have put more.
I don’t think Quinn in Washington is an elite coach, but I know Kingsbury is trash.
The Texans also got a radically outlier performance from the WR corps. It’s very, very rare that a unit everyone thinks isn’t great actually becomes very good. Almost never happens. Betting on it to happen in back to back years seems shortsighted.
This feels strictly like a bet on Daniels. But even the best QBs need help, and I just don’t think he’ll have enough.
(Also, Sikkema’s takes almost always suck)

Hey I loved them last year as well, @CuriousHusker can back me up (sorry I keep using you for this buddy). But that team last year is very different, imo, from Washington this year. I don’t see a single thing to like about them outside of Daniels.

I did get hit in the head a lot playing sports… But let the record show Kwesi wanted Daniels. So technically you agree with Kwesiboyd. 
I think Daniels is gonna be real good.

In actuality he was spot on about Houston. I was very skeptical. Even though I did like Stroud as a prospect I didn’t see that coming.
