Looks to me like these are the writers predictions, so pretty much worthless like all the others.

This might help you. This is a quote from the opening paragraph of the article. Keep in mind – teams 21-32 would make the playoffs if the season ended today the reason Cleveland and Oakland would be higher is because based on the fact that they are in the AFC Conference and their particular specific Division standings they would actually believe it or not be playoff teams if the season were to end today. Like you said in the beginning way way too early 
Yea but as far a record goes isnt the lions record better then the browns and the raiders at picks 21 and 22?
