Agree 100%. I think the Lions will show up tonight and play well. I’m assuming the Texans will play well at home, or at least much better than they did against the Jets. We have the better team and if we play well in all 3 phases, we should win.
With that said, fhe Lions are most likely going to drop a game or 2 before the regular season is over. If that happens, an AFC team is preferable over an NFC team. 14-3 or even 13-4 should get us the number 1 seed. 3-1/4-1 in the 3rd and 4th quarters of the season gets it done.
Go Lions!! Let’s get the 2nd half of the season started right!!!
Going on the road back to back against GB and Houston is about as tough as it gets. I was hoping for at least a split……but honestly the way both teams are currently playing I think we win tonight. Really hoping to see the defense step up against the run and continue to keep teams out of the end zone. Would expect to see a lot of Dmo and Gibbs against Houston’s defense tonight as well.
With Decker now out, Z not playing, and absolutely no depth at either DE or LB with JRM and Rodrigo out, I’m starting to think we may lose this one. Getting Jamo back will certainly help.
We’re up a game and a half in the toughest division in football coming up on the easier part of our schedule. Just hope we can get out of here tonight injury free.
Amen to injury free but I’m optimistic about tonight.Yes, we have injuries but so do they. They’re down arguably their best defensive player, and possibly 2 of their top 3 WRs. Even if Collins plays, he won’t be at peak form. Their offensive line is a mess as well.
Any given Sunday applies as usual, but if we can run the ball and control the game offensively, I like our chances.
