No I get it, but I don’t pump players on here that don’t deserve it. THAT’s the difference. The player I pumped the most was Charlie ■■■■■■■ Jones, who LEFT IOWA and went to Purdue. I knew he had it, he ends up leading the Big 10 in receiving yards after he left. We had shit at QB, these days Charlie is just a return guy for the Browns but he’s in the NFL and would be playing WR on another team.
I wish I could say yes (because I really really dislike OSU), but having watched both teams this year, the only team capable of beating OSU, is OSU if they don’t show up
I’ve been trying to tell people it’s going to level the field more. Instead of 10 teams having a chance now we have 25 that have a chance in a given year.
Now the difference between the top 10 & the bottom 10 grows (as those programs turn into developmental feeder programs for the top dogs), yes, but I don’t really care about the bottom 10 programs anyways
This is just a really really ugly game.
We are playing very bad and it feels like South Carolina has an automatic rifle aimed at it’s own foot.
Being a fan is fun
Can’t say I have watched much OSU but who is there big win against this year? Texas? Illinois?
Only game I saw was Texas and they were not all that impressive vs pretty bad Texas team clearly.
Indiana went to Eugene and won. I would rank based on what you have done and to me that is Indiana today.
Indiana also beat Illinois and just as, if not more impressively.
Now maybe OSU is better but that can be decided on the field if they play. But as lf today based on what teams have done on the field Indiana deserves that #1 seed.
Indiana beat IOWA by 5 after IOWA lost their starting QB. Let’s say 7 because they took an intentional safety late. It was a close game until IOWA lost their QB, a game IOWA could have won. I don’t think IOWA beats Ohio State in any scenario.
Georgia tech as well. And msu hired smith
Ya. Can’t say I watched that game but doesn’t change my opinion on Indiana deserving #1 in rankings today. They just came off a top 10 team (yes Illinois is not but they were ranked so it does take more to get up and the demolished them) and had a big game vs a legit top 10 team the following week. I don’t really care if they looked past an Iowa team a little and didn’t win by much.
Ultimately Indiana has basically taken care of most teams the the way a #1 team would.
OSU would be #2 IMO as we have enough games into the season and Indiana wins are just more impressive. No knock to OSU as they don’t control the Big10 schedule and not their fault Texas sucks
You might be right based upon who has beat who. Schedules, etc.
My ranking are just based upon who looks more impressive on TV when I watch them. To me, OSU is better on the film than Indiana. I hope I’m wrong
Really hoping for a South Carolina win over Bama here & a Vandy win over Missouri.
College Football is fun
