Well, at least Bill O’Brien isn’t the Lions head coach

You honestly aren’t impressed with him?

3x All Pro WR.

Here’s his 2019 game log:

He topped 100 yards receiving in five of 16 games. He had 55 or fewer receiving yards in five games, too.

And he went from mid-September to the end of October, five straight games, without a 100-yard game or a receiving TD.

The end numbers look pretty good, but they aren’t Antonio Brown in Pittsburgh, top 3 WR in the league type numbers.

If you aren’t impressed with Hopkins, who are you impressed with?
2019- 4th in receptions, 11th in yards (15 games)
2018- 3rd in receptions, 2nd in yards
2017- 6th in receptions, 4th in yards (15 games)
2015- 3rd in receptions, 3rd in yards

Although he has finished in the top 3 in both yards and receptions 2x in the last 5 years. Antonio Brown has done that 1x in the last 5 years.
Brown has had a HOF QB in Roethlisberger. Hopkins had a washed up Schaub, Fitzpatrick, Osweiler, Hoyer, Mallet, Keenum, Yates, Weeden, and Savage at QB for his first 4 and 1/2 years before Watson took over the last 2 an 1/2 years.(and Watson was awful his first season)
He very rarely drops a pass; he has some of the best hands in the league.

To add to that:

In 2017, Hopkins was No. 1 in TD catches with 13 and No. 2 in yards per game.

In 2018, Hopkins was No. 5 in TD catches with 11 and No. 2 in yards per game.

I’m an attorney–I get that. However, I also know that sometimes such allegations are the product of next morning remorse too.

There sure is a common theme with Patriots coaches.

If I were an owner I wouldn’t touch anyone who studied under BB.

It was one of the reasons I didn’t want him.
