"We're Good" at TE?

Why not Borom, Sewell and Miller all on the field together. We are paying Borom 5 mill, use him

I think so

Kerby jamo hutch draft

Who just happens to be a free agent at the moment…and is a matador at blocking.

Manu is a speedster with sub 5.00 speed. Gotta be him. Plus I don’t want any defender going low on Penei to tackle.

I’m honestly not sure Manu is even making the team. last year they just stashed him on IR. I’m not even convinced he was injured. They just wanted the roster spot. But that meant he couldn’t practice most of the year. Hard to develop when you can’t even practice.

It’s now or never I think. It’s year 3. They gave up on Bromart in year 3. Manu gonna have to show some improvement in training camp

Someone’s gotta replace swing tackle Borom
Next year to save 5 mil.

Is it Manu or Frazier?

I wonder if Manu gets a look at LG next to Sewell

It’s just about performance. If rookies like Moore and West are giving Manu problems in training camp probably just time to move on. We will see. Maybe he’s been working his ass off all offseason. I hope so. Signing Borom and spending a first rounder on Miller makes me think they ain’t expecting too much from Manu

Wow. That hit like a sucker punch, I guess because I hadn’t even considered it, but I instantly knew it could happen. I’d respect the hell out of Brad if he did cut him because it would be such a self-indictment of picking Manu in the first place. It seems he has to give him another year–or maybe do the Sorsdal trick and mysteriously carry him on IR for the year.

Sorry about the sucker punch bud. haha yea I forgot Sorsdal was even still a Lion. Definitely feels like some of these IR designations are pretty questionable in terms of how injured they are. But I guess the player still gets paid so better than being cut

That must be why the league drafted so many shitty TE’s this year. I have never, ever, got why we didn’t simply move on from Wright.

Yeah I should say he’s not great overall, just a good backup. I would have let SF have him too back then.

Pacheco is known for his downhill running style, so I do not know where this comes from.

If by “backup” you mean a 3rd or 4th, well, but as #2 absolutely not.

Because we took Hooker over Tucker Kraft

And gets to practice and develop on his own in one of the offseason position camps. Could be a win-win if something clicks.

I’ll be surprised if Conklin doesn’t beat out Wright for TE #2. He’s a good player, that being considered I would say yes we are good at TE

.

His YAC ability is solid.

There isn’t a lot of depth at TE league wide.

Baltimore was very lucky with Andrews / Likely and Cleveland last year had a similar situation with Fanin / Njoku but it’s the exception to the rule.

It’s not lucky if you don’t stop looking. They took Charlie Kolar in that window too.
