I like the Tigers chances better. I think they’re the best team in the AL. I think the Eagles are the best team in the NFC.

You only say that because our defense was decimated last season.
It’s a new season and if we can keep the injury’s down, even slightly, we are the best team in the NFL.
The Eagles had health over us last year. NOTHING else!

In the NFC luck is a factor to get to the Super Bowl.
AFC — well, just say it’s very suspicious. 
I feel like the talent is now. Super bowl or bust.

To “expect” a Super Bowl win is, strictly speaking, unreasonable for any team. including the league’s best team (whoever you think that is). If I seriously had to put huge stakes on it, would I bet the Lions against the field to win the SB? No. And yet I believe the Lions are more likely to win the Bowl than any other team.
I think they’ll field a better team than last year’s expected starters and significantly better than the 2nd-half team they fielded, assuming no similar injury disaster.
They won 15 games last year, but weren’t a “15-2” team, not with those injuries. I see 12-13 wins and an NFCCG appearance, w/it being close to a crapshoot from there.

Agreed. I am also thinking 12 wins, division title and a SB. And we are better this year. Going into year 5 of Brad and Dan year 4 of winning football and year 3 of elite football and i am still not used to it.
