Nothing beats Goff when he can throw to his four favorites. I mean, c’mon. Take a look at this candy:
Look at those Quarterback ratings when targeted for each receiver. Who can top it?

Oh, but wait… Here’s Goff with all his other playmakers. He posts an even better Quarterback rating when throwing to these guys.
Goff plus group A…versus Goff plus group B.
What is this…SuperMan versus BatMan?
I suggest the Super Bowl be played with these guys…
Lions Players A
vs.
Lions Players B
I count 5. You think he doesn’t trust TP? Rewatch some game tape.
Actually, it goes something like this;
Amon Ra
Jamo
Lif
LaPorta
Wright
Patrick
Gibbs
DMo
Zylstra
He knows those guys will make the catch.
You can probably add Kennedy to the list, too.
What perfect situation for Patrick to come to, and, he’s showing it on the field. Great job, so far, new guy!
Did you say TP @LionFrog?
Of all the nicknames for the poor guy to get.
Toilet Paper is going to stick. You just know it.
That’s fair. I don’t doubt he trusts more than four of his playmakers. I was just using a 20-pass-target minimum for the top four. Cheers.
He did
Thanks for that catch. Actually he had one but it was overturned by officials on review. I’ve corrected my database.
You take away week 2 against TB and Goff is 106/134 for 1388 yards with 13 TDs and 2 INTs
in the same way Amon Ra besides TB is 30 on 34 attempts for 289 and 5 TDs
Opposing defenses are keying in on the top 4 so it makes sense that guys like Wright and Raymond won’t ever get doubled or sometimes even single covered as evidenced by the Titans game.
When they say this offense is unstoppable, it’s the sheer number of guys that can catch (or even throw). It’s true 11 on 11. If you stuff the box, the outsides and deep are unguarded. Vice versa.
If you play a true man on man, the top 4 are all capable of slipping a tackle for huge gains.
Yup. And I’d exclude the Rams game and just take the past five games if you want to shine things up.
If one says “hey, the first two games are like preseason tune-ups” Goffs numbers are even more impressive…kinda insane.
Goff is 88/106 83% 1,171 yards 12 td’s 1 int Rating 138.6
amon is 27 receptions on 32 targets for 276 yards and 5 TDs
If goff averaged that for a season
299/360 3981 40 tds 3 tds
Amon would average 91 receptions on 108 targets for 938 yards and 17 TDs
also if you took out the anomaly of last week
76/91 83% 1086 yards 9 TDs 1 INT 141.6 Rating
19/22.75 271.5 2.25 td 0.25 int average those 4 games
in those 4 weeks for comparison
59/101 1009 8 TDs 1 Int 127.35 Rating
14.75/25.25 58%.4% 2 TDs 0.25 INT
Thats lamar in the same 4 game stretch after the first 2 weeks and to be fair taking out the last 2 weeks since they havent had their bye yet
