What did the Texans do?

True, but I think it can also fall under the they shut down WHO WE ARE run game.

Most of it was Pitre & Azeez

Say his name bro FAU alum Azeez Al-Shaair

They also got lucky with Jamo running the wrong route.

I wouldn’t say the same about the LaPorta pick, though. That was entirely due to the skill of Lassiter getting position on the play.

Agreed the pass rush was giving us problems but bad luck was really the story early and we still won on the road.

If goff led laporta on that play i doubt it would have been a pick

Al-Shaair was excellent, and actually that was something else they did different, played with 3-LBs more than any other game this season.

Yeah, that’s why I listed it first. It’s also why any assurances of us being in the Super Bowl gives me the willies. Bad luck can strike at any time. The best teams overcome it, sure, but usually you need help from the other team too (FG miss, Stroud missing Dell, non-PI call, etc…). You can only tempt fate so many times.

Imho, that fist half was our team being complacent

I mentioned before the game I was worried we’d come out expecting to win and not playing to win

Our only enemy that can defeat us this year is injuries or our own ego…. Complacency kills … stay context but never complacent my friends

The Texans woke the PRIDE

Yeah that’s what i saw. They owned the LOS that first half.

My pet theory is that somebody on the o line has a tell on the snap count. They were coming off the ball so fast it was unstoppable. I think this may have been addressed at the half.
That conspiracy coupled with the fact that they were very fired up coming out and couldn’t maintain it long enough to put is away.
