I was watching this game but have to admit I was dozing in and out. Did not see this two point conversion being set up…only saw the tackle This might be the worst attempt in history. Five blockers and they allow one guy to get through untouched.

They were watching old Colts film and said I think we can make this work. I still consider the Colts one to be the worst attempt but this is up there.
I can’t see what you’re linking, but if it’s from last night’s game it was a miscommunication on the snap count, I believe. The Center and QB were on a different page from the rest of the team.
Here’s a screen shot. You’ll see five blockers to the left, but they are all looking in toward the center to find out when the ball is snapped. Well, the defender was watching too and beat all of those guys (beat them off) to get back to the receiver.
Hilarious. The ball is snapped and thrown and they’re still standing there like the play hasn’t started.
Honestly this is what I appreciate the most about MCDC and his team. I can not think of a time the last 2 years where on even really a single play everyone was not on the same page. I am sure it has happened but off the top of my head I can not think of one.
This Lions team is very locked in and focused. That is a nod to the coaching staff and culture that is in place.
This is one of the things I never get tired of. Win or lose I really appreciate a well coached team. And a well coached team can also execute. Thing of beauty.
The Giants’ running back was picking up something like 8 yards a carry, but sure let’s run this clown show formation out there and hope that everyone remembers how it works.
Can anyone tell me why we never see this formation being used?
Because they’re trying to perfect this one.
Shambolic
Haven’t seen blocking that good since JB Cooter-designed run game
Speaking of which, remember when we didn’t want to lose him to the Bears so we blocked his Interview? Turns out, Jim Bob was chewing on the checkerboard, while Ben’s been playing 4D chess with Chewbacca.
It was all stinking night with the Giants. Very undisciplined team on offense.
I was surprised they had a chance to win it at the end. Even with Pittsburgh returning a kick for a touchdown.
When I listen to the players, even our trick plays are practiced a thousand times before they finally get executed in a game.
Funny you should ask. I just came across this before reading your post.
