I’m pretty sure my dad is the biggest Aerosmith fan in the history of Earth, so I also grew up a big Aerosmith fan, and still listen to them.

I can’t believe they’re still making music. Especially after their “farewell tour” had to get canceled because “Steven Tyler’s vocal chords wouldn’t let him perform anymore.”

All of his songs are in Spanish, so like 15% of the country will even know wtf is going on. It’s a really bizarre decision to say the least. With that said, I don’t ever watch or give a single shit about the halftime shows, so this doesn’t register with me outside of being a strange decision.

The only reason I know who he is is because he was in Happy Gilmore 2 and my buddy pointed him out. I couldn’t tell you a single song of his. But I also realize this is entirely my fault because I’m old and still listen to Springsteen, Pearl Jam etc… So good for the younger generations who will enjoy the half time show, I’ll be watching the game either way.

You could basically copy paste this reply to the half time show last year as well.

I thought so at first too. But then I remembered that the NFL is having so many more International games now and will only have more going to the future and South America is obviously a big part of that. So it makes sense in that regard.

Had no idea who it was when it was announced. But then again I haven’t really listened to any new music since like the early 2000s. I still listen to oldies(60s, 70s), some 80s and 90s-early 2000s rock. A little bit of metal as well.
