For me it’s Buena Vista Social Club and certain salsa singers like Ruben Blades.
Living in Latin America, I have grown to hate reggaeton with a passion, though I will acknowledge there are a few good ones. Most of it is nasty AF though.
If I want the good kind of nasty I’ll go with Calle 13.

I laugh at artists that turn down the SuperBowl half time because they dont get paid.
Usher Rihanna and Dr Dre. I bet you can tell when the superbowl they were in was.
Just a causal 30-50% increase in streams. Thats your payment

I wish I could give some smart ass comment but I just don’t care about the half time show at all.
Even if I loved the performer I would not watch as it is almost always recorded and not live singing. And again even if it was I use that time to visit the little boys room, eat, check my squares, and the last few years thank my wife for letting us just stay home. Most Super Bowl parties suck as I just want to watch the game.

I’m an old white dude so It’s unlikely I am going to know any artist they bring in. I think that’s fine, I didn’t know the guy from last Superbowl half time show and my daughter had to explain it to me. My daughter, who does not watch football, came to hang out and watch the 1/2 time show, and as an end result spent the whole day hanging out and watching the game.
The NFL already has me hooked so no need to market to me. If they want to grow the wealth they need new demographics and to bring in younger fans which is what the 1/2 time show is mostly about. Regardless of who they bring in I’m going to treat it as a time to take a break, get some refills going and visit with the family.

I like most anything but Bad Bunny i can’t get into, nothing pleasing about it, I’m not sure what the draw to it is?!?! Oh well.
I think I’d rather listen to Bad Monkey.
