I’ll be watching Kalif. I want him to have a big enough game that he gives a post game presser. I think the Lions’ new lectern may be taller than he is.

First game of the new season is always a bit of a wildcard. I want to see the whole team pick up where they left off last year and start the season on a high note out of the gate. No flat periods for quarters. Little if any rust. Attention to details to set this train on the right course for the next 17 weeks and then onward.
In sum, I want to see manifested confidence as it’s a brand new season where anything can happen and last year’s hype, success and promise are all in the rear view window.

Super curious about a lot. Truthfully though, I will watch Gibby & Fox the most closely. Always have, because that is guaranteed awesomeness. Every time I watch Gibby highlights, I can’t believe that he can do what he does. Getting out of situations that you would call ‘bullshit’ on. No man can get out of there…annnnnd…there he goes for 8 more yards. Him and Fox are just unreal at what they do.
