Which team makes the bonehead move of the day

if they take Mike Green, Brad and Co did their homework on this.

100% because they will be asked about it and the minute anything happens it will be thrown at their feet. The detroit sports media has proven that they are more than willing to write hit pieces even when it isnt warranted.

Nico Iamaleava was the Tennessee QB less than a month ago. :man_shrugging:

Being serious, that “extension” was just to reward Deion for not taking the Dallas job. I will bet there are some clauses and a buyout already baked in. 5 year extension or not, if things go like I think they will, Colorado will be firing Deion soon. Deion only went there to get his kids to the NFL. That’s literally it. Shiloh isn’t going to make it, and if the draft plays out as expected, there’s a good chance Shaduer falls to the 2nd round. I still think he is a 5th rd talent anyways.

Deion is going to go to whatever place someone worships him. Now that the real star left Colorado, that house of cards is going to collapse. Colorado was already falling apart by the end of last year, and they play in a bad conference! The shine is going to wear off the turd, and Deion won’t take ANYONE questioning his precious child, so he will go to the NFL to make Shadeur the starting QB and bring Dallas back to glory. Jerruh will love it because everyone will be talking Cowboys again. Win win.

There is some belief out there that jones wont hire a minority to lead the cowboys. I don’t know the truth behind it but they have never had one as gm or head coach last time i checked?

Is deion going to be the first after he just hired a Schottenheimer? I think it is more media narrative and hope based on the attention grab it would be.

You will lose that bet. The $54M is guaranteed.

Sanders has buyouts starting at $10M after this year so he could leave, but if he is fired he gets it all.

I’m shocked that no one has voted for the Jets yet.

I know, I know. AG is there now. But MAAAAN… they have had some rough drafts over the years. Like, total reaches, position mismatches, etc.

Perhaps we give AG the benefit of the doubt?

Then probably Cleveland. Because the owners who signed off on Watson are still there…

Coming back to the topic, I’ll predict it is whoever has the biggest mandate to improve.

My opinion, this has to be the Giants.

I mean

they actually were decent the last like 3 years?

got both OROY and DROY with both Garret Wilson (Would have been Breece, also a jet if he was healthy) and Sauce

along with Will Macdonald and Jermaine Johnson.

Jets have just been bad from an FA standpoint, Douglas actually drafts decently well.

That’s fine, we will see. It’s just a feeling, but I think something is going to happen there. We’ve seen many coaches who were locked up that suddenly aren’t.

I don’t think Dallas has had a minority coach, but I don’t think that’s the issue. I think the real issue is, Jerruh pays his HC’s peanuts. That would for sure have to change to get Deion in. Yes, Jerruh would drop Schottenheimer in a second if he could get a big name to bring attention to Dallas. The only reason Schottenheimer is there is because they couldn’t get anyone else. Especially after how they did McCarthy. Dallas isn’t a desireable place for a coach for many reasons. However, considering Deion would get his way, that’s not an issue for him.

I think you are more likely correct i just remember looking at it with Deion and reading peoples beliefs on “racial preferences” for Jerry when hiring and history seemed to agree. I dont know if i agree with it or not and really dont care about jerry jones so…

The real GM was KAaron Rodgers and he is gone now. It’s a new era.

He put Colorado on the map.

We all found out it was Brick Johnson. The Brick era is alive and well. I think the Jets have a good HC now, but I still see the same front office clown show.

I think some QB hungry team is going to make a mistake. Or possibly a tackle hungry team.

After drafting Richardson, they shouldn’t be allowed to draft anyone.

I think The Steelers fumble their pick.

Personally, I would hate it if the Bears got Jeanty. No matter how it happens.

I have respect for the player for sure, but the overall impact on the offense with their WR’s is what really causes concern. An RB like him will unlock Ben’s creativity and play design. It’s like Jim Bob talking about boxing with one hand tied behind his back. They have the receiving threats, but unlocking the ground game makes them complete. Of course, OL matters quite a bit in the equation, but they’ve been at work on that, too.
