One of the producers for FOX is a Ohio-born, DIE-HARD Ohio State fan, knows that I am a Irish fan and comes to me and says “I effin hate that Michigan hired Whittingham. They will be a problem for Ryan Day under Whittingham.” This producer wants to replace Day with Free….so he’s always busting my chops about it when he sees me.

I haven’t been this curious to see a team hit field since Harbaugh was first hired. I’m guessing it will be year two before the Wolverines are a true problem for the Buckeyes and the Big Ten.

It depends entirely on the development of underwood. If he takes a huge step Michigan should be a contender right away. Not having a dedicated coach for Bryce last season was criminal negligence on moore’s part.

Our schedule is brutal next year. If we can come out of it with 3 losses or less I’ll feel good.
True but Michigan is also still one of the more talented teams in the country. It’s going to be fun to watch.

It may take a bit for this staff to get used to the roster as well as Big Ten play. I fully expect them to finish strong, but I’m more worried about starting strong. They also haven’t seen anything like November in Columbus. I know Whittingham knows he’s supposed to care more about the rivalry than he does right now. He’ll get it after he visits that stadium wearing maize and blue.
