my initial thoughts are-
A. Sione Vaki :as they may like Jacob Sayers more, Vaki needs to take a step forward this season to evade being cut..
Jackson Meeks: Former WR , switched to TE-may be his final chance to improve.
Brock Wright: "may not have done enough to stay this season.
Loren Strickland: may be the odd man out @ Safety, needs to prove himself in defensive snaps.
Well we have a 90 man roster right now and 53 make it so I’d imagine somewhere around 37 guys are getting cut. I’m not a mathematician though but I did stay at a holiday inn express last night.

Also be sure to factor in the 27 training camp season ending injuries. Technically they won’t need to be cut.
I predict that Brad will ask the collective Den to hold his beer and outdo himself. Last year he cut down to 50. This year he’s cutting down 46. That’s all you can have active on game day, so why keep anymore than that?
On topic, I think all those originally listed are possible losses. And add to the fact we’ve all but said Manu is gone. I’ll add one or two of the OLine “depth” guys will show out huge in preseason, and still get the axe. Normal preseason stuff. Scruggs, Bartch or Borom.
That Borom cut will be a dun day here.
I’ll also add, one of our no name secondary guys who we expect to play a lot will be a surprise cut. Clark or Izien would be my guess.
I could see manu being brought back on the practice squad if he shows any improvement.

I don’t think we are thinking too highly of the roster as-is, our defense has barely began to get some kind of a foundation, we haven’t built anything meaningful there yet and have a long way to go -to claim we have a strong defense. we sprinkled in some supporting cast members this offseason 26, but we don’t know what the hell we’re looking at there, and we have work to do yet and still until it’s a finished project. Ranking in the low 20’s to high 30’s should scream that.

sure is every position group loaded? No but they all at minimum have players with big upside. This team still has as much elite talent as anyone in the league.
I am guessing Manu gets cut.

I hope he does. That’d be awesome! But that recent article reads to me like, he needs to get it done now, or someone else will.
