I don’t know i’m seeing a lot of pitty MVP talk for Maye. Like, he doesn’t have Puka and Adams and his OL wasn’t good. Except if you mention Goff because then the Pats OL was great!
Should QB’s with great WR’s never win the MVP? Do all QB’s with great WR’s get 4,700 yards and 46 TD’s and only 8 INT’s?
The only reason Maye is in the convo is because Stafford threw 3 INT’s in the final two games, and didn’t win the division. Because there’s no universe were a QB that throws for 4,700 and 46 TD’s with only 8 INT’s plus 11 games without an INT with 25 TD’s without an INT and wins 12 games doesn’t win the MVP.
The problem then is Maye is the next best QB WITH the wins. Because no other QB with the wins has better stats. Give Goff 3 more wins and he’s better than Maye.
