My stepson in-law is a CO for the DNR, one if just 7 to receive a distinguished service medal this year (brag alert)…and he like a lot of the DNR is ready to see baiting allowed in the LP.
Pop control more important, as there are wayyy too many deer out there right now. Now the Congresscritters are forcing some alacrity too.

I am in the minority but I was never a fan of baiting. I feel it changes natural deer patterns and causes deer to move more at night.
Some feel they need baiting to be successful…
Im curious @Weaselpuppy why are they ready to see it?…. Are they just tired of the debate or do they feel it has some benefit?

Highest and best use of CO’s time isn’t responding to baiting tips.
I imagine that there will be a good chance of increased Harvest limit for Hunter in the next decade or two given the trend of your population and her population going in different directions
