The Browns, Jets, Giants really did well too.
Kneejerk reactions and in descending order and excluding the Lions because of bias:
Jets
Browns
Washington
Seattle
Dallas
Bears
Packers
Damn Giants got Hood too?
Reese
Cisi Maui
Hood-a
What a draft
Not much love for the Bucs?
I loved Bain at (15), Trotter at (46), Hurst at (84), Scott at (116), and Capehart in the 5th. None feel early and two of the best values in the draft in Bain & Scott.
Really liked every pick for the Panthers also
what’s with the strange edits applied to my original post?
I know it’s not liked that the Bengals gave up a 1st for Lawrence, but nabbing Howell, Taco and Brian Parker “looks” like a quality haul to me.
In a meh draft, i think the cowboys did really well in the first round.
I think only you can edit your post, no?
I haven’t looked at the odds, but i think the Giants could be favorites to win their division.
The only way the rams pick makes sene is if stafford told them this is his last year. If erin can play into his mid 40’s stafford definitely can. I could see matt playing another 5 years.
Yeah I’m pretty sure. I just think when you include (@) in a post it, it really messes everything up. Before I edited it was a mess.
2 years is fine also imo. But any more than that and I also believe it doesn’t make much sense.
Maybe they like what they see and move on from Stafford after this year? I know it sounds crazy but the packers did it twice with Favre and Rodgers. 49ers did it with Montana. And to a lesser degree the Chiefs did it with Alex Smith.
ours.
atta boy.
I like the cowboys first round. I am meh about this draft class overall. But I do like our draft a lot. It was exactly the draft we needed to calm everyone’s nerves and restore confidence in the regime and the future of the Lions. This is still a top 5 roster. I will be shocked if we don’t win 13 games next year.
Stafford is married with children.
Aaron doesn’t have children. I think it makes a difference.
I do think he plays a few more years but your right, the kids do factor in and that back of his is rough….so I don’t think he makes it another 5 years. Maybe 2?
.
I think the Chiefs decided that Alex Smith was just too limited to run the offense that Andy Reid wanted. He has always wanted a QB that is capable of pushing the ball downfield.
I won’t argue that
