At least now Holmes and Campbell can officially talk about Goff and what they believe he offers/brings and if they plan is to keep him etc.
Serve me some Honolulu Blue Kool-aid.
Holmes is already the greatest Lions GM just from this trade alone.

Why did the Matthew Stafford-Jared Goff trade become official today, not yesterday? Goff had a $2.5 million roster bonus due on the second day of the league year, which is today. The #Rams agreed to pay it as part of the trade to the #Lions, per source. A parting gift from L.A.
Might partly explain why the Lions did the Rams a favor in taking Brockers in a salary dump.
