Big deal. That has no bearing on weighing supplement or nutrition directions and evidence.

Plus, not verified. Only rumors and inuendo.

Yeah, from his own son.

And I said, just keep that in mind. But if you’re not familiar with Scientology or are and that doesn’t put you off, I don’t know what to say. It is a big deal. And no offense but if he actually believes any of that crap I personally wouldn’t trust his “science” for a second. Scientology is some crazy and evil shit.

Yeah, they have an estranged repationship. Could be true or not. Still has no bearing on reading nutrition studies and outcomes. No more than Tom Cruse work on a movie.

Dr. Eric Berg, a chiropractor, promotes keto diets, intermittent fasting, and nutrition-focused health advice, but critics highlight frequent inaccuracies and pseudoscience in his claims. Fact-checkers rate his content low for factual reporting due to unsupported assertions, while some low-carb tips align with research. Regulatory actions and expert reviews underscore patterns of exaggeration beyond evidence.

Regulatory Discipline

Virginia’s chiropractic board reprimanded Berg in 2008, fining him $1,500 and ordering him to cease promoting unproven techniques like Body Response Technique (BRT), Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET), and Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA), deeming them unsupported by scientific evidence. The board also flagged a 2002 newsletter claiming synthetic estrogen caused conditions like thyroid issues and adrenal burnout without clinical backing, and criticized his use of “Dr.” without clarifying his non-MD status.[factually][youtube]

Common Debunked Claims

Berg pushes pseudoscientific remedies, such as “liver fat removal” shakes with kale and kefir lacking clinical trials. He promotes debunked anti-vaccine ideas, like vaccine-induced autoimmunity, contradicted by medical consensus. Exaggerations include avoiding iron or cast-iron pans to “never get cancer” and overstated sugar-cancer links rated “mostly false” by PolitiFact.factually+3

Fact-Checks on Key Topics

Medical doctors critiquing Berg’s heart health videos cite misrepresented studies; for instance, he downplays statins while large trials (e.g., over 8,000 patients) show LDL reduction cuts mortality. Adrenal fatigue, a staple claim, lacks proof per the Endocrine Society, risking misdiagnosis. Media Bias/Fact Check notes overlaps with valid low-carb research but flags pseudoscience and commercial biases from supplement sales.foodfacts+2youtube+1

Expert and Consumer Critiques

Watchdogs like RationalWiki label much of his output quackery, with consumer complaints via BBB reporting harms like insomnia from supplements or delayed cancer care. YouTube fact-checks (e.g., Dr. Brad Stanfield) dissect videos with PubMed-linked rebuttals, showing selective data use. No comprehensive retractions from Berg, though he responded to some critiques without full concessions.[cake]youtube+1

Why are you posting a picture of a pregnant woman?

Im weird… my first thought was “are they then going to ask for a oenis pic”?!

I find that when I “hear” about others struggles with injuries and surgeries…. I tend to minimize inappropriately… pics can clarity severity… and maybe I’m looking for a “aw we love you dude” moment!

But, I also would not post super gory pics …. To avoid triggering someone …

And it looks like a face :winking_face_with_tongue::person_shrugging::double_exclamation_mark::winking_face_with_tongue::mending_heart::folded_hands:
