Lem I am very sorry to hear that. Hugs and prayers and condolences and FU Cancer and all that I can think of to you buddy. 46 years is a helluva life and story.
Hell yes to this. Do your research. Have a close friend who had his cancer smoked out with very light chemo, and then completely cleared with just the two controversial treatments I won’t mention by name. ( I and F ). Also included four day water fasts, followed by a temporary carnivore type diet with zero starch and zero sugar of any kind.
She sounds like a very special gal. Peace to you - keep remembering her with pride and love.
Hang in there Marty. The good news is that even if it is cancer of the thyroid, it is a cancer with a very good prognosis. And you’re catching it early. You got this. Best wishes.
Sorry to hear, Marty. Chances are she’ll be okay.
I’ve posted this before here, sulforaphane is one of the best supplements you can possibly consume. You can get it in cruciferous veggies, and combined with brown mustard powder it is a super powerful compound with anti-cancer and many other benefits. I used to grown my own broccoli sprouts, but it’s kind of a pain in the ass.
I now take sulforaphane in a concentrated form. This, plus daily creatine (5-20 grams) are two interventions that have a lot of science behind them.

As Free mentioned above, water fasting activates autophagy, during which the body consumes whatver junk is floating around, including cancer cells.

Combining sulforaphane from broccoli with brown mustard seed powder significantly increases the bioavailability of sulforaphane, an important compound known for its anti-cancer and health-promoting effects. Mustard seed powder contains the enzyme myrosinase, which helps convert glucoraphanin in cooked broccoli into sulforaphane, boosting its absorption by over four times compared to broccoli alone.
Sulforaphane and Mustard Seed Interaction
-
Sulforaphane is a potent isothiocyanate with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxification properties.
-
Cooking broccoli reduces its natural myrosinase activity, which lowers sulforaphane production.
-
Brown mustard seed powder restores this enzyme activity, converting more glucoraphanin to sulforaphane even after broccoli is cooked.
-
Studies show that adding mustard seed powder to cooked broccoli increases sulforaphane bioavailability by about 4 to 8-fold in humans.pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih+2youtube
Anti-Cancer Effects
-
Sulforaphane has demonstrated anti-cancer properties by inducing cell cycle arrest, promoting apoptosis, and inhibiting proliferation in various cancer cell types including breast and lung cancer.
-
Its mechanisms include disrupting tubulin polymerization and activating detoxification enzymes that protect against carcinogens.
-
The combination with mustard seed powder enhances these effects by ensuring higher systemic sulforaphane levels for longer durations, potentially increasing its efficacy in cancer prevention and treatment.withpower+1
Additional Health Benefits
-
Besides anti-cancer effects, sulforaphane may benefit cardiovascular health, diabetes management, and digestive health through its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions.
-
The synergy of combining cooked cruciferous vegetables with mustard seed powder is a simple dietary strategy to maximize sulforaphane intake and its corresponding health benefits.healthline+1
In summary, including brown mustard seed powder with cooked broccoli or other cruciferous vegetables significantly amplifies sulforaphane absorption and boosts its anti-cancer and overall health-promoting effects by restoring the myrosinase enzyme activity lost during cooking.youtubetendprenatal+3

This guy is a Scientologist, so keep that in mind.
But he keeps it real here.
So, just dont cook broccoli, amirite? Make a broccoli salad/slaw with heart healthy mayo and mustard powder and other veggies…
I mean eat cooked broccoli too….
I think it’s 80 celsius where the sulphophane is seriously degraded. So raw is clearly the best way. A light tossing in a pan with garlic etc won’t ruin it.
But you can toss into a pasta salad raw, with bits of cheese and red peppers etc. I love a herbed vinaigrette dressing myself.
I take the sulforaphane capsule with brown mustard seed powder daily. A multivitamin (don’t let them tell is useless absolutely not true). I take 5-20 grams of creatine and another 5-10 grams of glycine a day.
I buy two heads of broc a week, use the stems for soup.
Yes, broc slaw is one of the best things you can eat. You will get boners too.
And baking soda. Take 5 grams of that with creatine. Another multiplier. All this is backed by research.
Soaked chia seeds. Flax. Quality fish.
All of this take like five minutes out of my day.
I follow that guy. Didn’t know he was a Scientologist. I trust most of the information he passes along.
Yea he’s got lots of good info.
Plus who doesn’t love Xenu ![]()

Praying for her–keep us posted. Hope everything ends up ok.

I have a bunch of health certs from legit programs, a big part of the reason I got out of that business is because I got tired of all the flakes, and yeah, narcissists, in the business.
Rhonda Patrick, Peter Attia, those people I trust. There are many other good scientists out there.
