We are hoping to move in the spring time into our final house. Would like to get a sauna there. I think they’re beneficial.

Cold plunges are supposed to do wonders for inflammation, burning fat, and HGH production… or maybe it was Testosterone, can’t remember.

Even cold showers or cold water on your head and face have benefits as well.
I’ve tried taking cold showers, theyre tough…I’m a pussy when it comes to being cold.

I know it sounds dumb but I take cold showers when I had covid. Running a 105 degree temp got it down to 102. It was luke warm .

Sometimes interventions involve things that simply increase things that are naturally present in the human body, like creatine and baking soda. Sometimes it’s kinda random.

The cruciferous veggies and mustard thing is not much different than a drug created by a pharma company. Viagra was developed as an antidepressant.

I would offer that she should take a sulforaphane supplement along with a pinch of brown mustard seed powder, this is an intervention that has proven efficacy for cancers, including breast cancer.

Your daughter might want to follow Rhonda Patrick on this subject.

Among my batteries of tests done this year, I’ve had 2 inflammatory marker tests done; CRP and hs-CRP.

C Reactive Protein, is a general inflammatory marker and while not amazingly relevant as a stand alone, it is something that can be measured cheaply and easily. Reference range where you want to be is a score of 3 or below, and above 6 is elevated, above 10 and there are concerns about something acute going on.

His Sensitivity CRP or Cardiac CRP is directed at inflammatory markers in your cardiac arteries. Reference range is above 3 is high risk, 1-3 is average and below 1 is low risk.

I’m at 1 and .9, which is awesome and Really Neccessary, as my natural, non-interventional meds/diet cardiac state is really high risk.

So, why? I dont exercise much at all ? Been walking a mile a day for a month now though) and am still about 30# over, and am really good at getting gout if Im not on meds…so lots of metabolic reasons to have high inflammation…

So always have done lots of supps…and they have helped, but, I believe, without causative confirmation but correlative information, its because have been using a grounding bedsheet for a year. I sleep better, hurt less and those CRP scores went down.

Check them out. About $100-120. Worth it for me.

Well, no shit dude …if I have petrified wood for 4 hours, I’m pretty far from depressed.

I have grounding bed sheets and a grounding pillowcase, not sure if I’m sold on the benefits…or mine might not be effective anymore, which I read about afterwards that can happen after a few washings. I put my grounding mat at the foot of the bed under my grounding sheets. It’s probably time to retest them.
I keep getting ads for Groundluxe grounding sheets, supposedly higher quality so maybe I’ll give them a shot next.

Have you guys seen the guy from the U.P. that makes videos about how he and his wife both have had Cancer and that both took Ivermectin?..worth checking out.

*Just as a side note guys, do your research on all of this medical stuff. I’m only sharing some of what I know or read and am in no way any kind of health expert.

Broccoli sprouts are even better than regular broccoli:

Broccoli sprouts offer numerous benefits due to their high concentration of sulforaphane, a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound. Key advantages include supporting the body’s natural detoxification process, reducing inflammation, and potentially lowering the risk of certain chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. They also provide essential nutrients such as fiber, vitamins C and A, and folate, which support digestive, immune, brain, and bone health.

Key benefits

  • Detoxification:

Sulforaphane helps activate the body’s detoxification enzymes, particularly in the liver, aiding in the elimination of toxins.

  • Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant:

They are rich in antioxidants that protect cells from damage caused by free radicals, and sulforaphane has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that may help with joint and brain health.

  • Cancer prevention:

Broccoli sprouts contain high levels of glucoraphanin, which converts to sulforaphane. This compound may protect DNA, prevent abnormal cell growth, and lower the risk of certain cancers.

  • Heart health:

Nutrients like fiber and sulforaphane can help improve heart health by lowering ā€œbadā€ cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood pressure.

  • Brain health:

The antioxidants in broccoli sprouts can help protect brain cells from oxidative stress and may lower the risk of neurodegenerative diseases.

  • Digestive health:

The fiber content promotes healthy digestion and helps prevent constipation.

  • Immune support:

Vitamin C, found in high amounts, helps boost the immune system.

  • Other nutritional benefits:

They are also a source of vitamins A and K, which support eye and bone health, and folate, which is important for cell repair.

Yep. I used to grow broccoli sprouts in jars but eventually opted for the capsule with the concentrated form, despite the fact that I eat broc multiple times a week. A 3 month supply of the capsules runs me about $35 USD. Growing the sprouts is kinda fun but it got old for me after a while. I have also sprouted fenugreek and lentils.

FWIW, I buy a couple of heads of broc and cut up the florets according to whether I’m going to toss them in a stir fry, more often I cut them small and have a big container of them ready to go. I do the same with red peppers. Then after the prepping I have an easy breakfast omelette with broccoli and peppers, can throw in some cheese if you like. I add herbs.

Then you’ve got all the cut up stock, which has all of these same nutrients as the florets. Can make slaw or soup with those parts, but if soup you have to cook it low and slow in order not to degrade the sulforaphane.

I have years of obtaining nutrition and other health certifications, and in no way do I consider myself an expert.

I am scientifically literate enough know to who, in turn, to trust. I think. But anything I post here I have very high confidence in becauses it’s backed by loads of strong research.

I was living in a place where there were loads of ā€œhealersā€ with no training and who would promote what the ā– ā– ā– ā–  ever could make them seem like an expert. I will leave it at that.

Can’t speak much for your situation, but from my own past experience if it’s really bad news I imagine you would be notified ASAP. In my experience bad news is usually quick.
